Upgrading RAM in a 6 months old notebook

Hello =]

I have a Gateway MX6958 Notebook.

And runs Windows Vista Home Premium.

I really want to upgrade my RAM from 1GB to 2GB (2 x 1GB) and the price will be around $140.

The real question is if I should upgrade it or wait a while until i'll buy a new notebook? cuz budget is a little low right now...

Uses: Graphic design and Music Producing (I'm amature in music producing of course).

Upgrade the memory.

Vista runs very good with 1GB, but it really seems to run smoother with 2GB or more.

$140 is not bad when you consider the performance increase you will notice.

OK I guess that's what I'll do.
