[request] Shellwm Smoothstrips Skins...

With the release of the 0.6 ShellWM...the devs have come a long way in making this promising, but sometimes frustrating app more stable...The (3rd) update to 0.6 should be released very soon, and it nows works well with my beloved Firebird 0.6.1 Milestone 1.5a and Yz Shadow 1.3!

Now I finally can have my Mac (traffic lights) on the left hand side, without having to rely on WB, and its burden of using heavy resources...ja450n, has some real nice Aqua, Aqua Graphite, Brushed Blue, & Brushed Aqua skins (that were recently updated 07-31-2003), available @SkinBase and I love the style and font included...

Floyd25, one of the lead developers of 0.6, stated that 'quality' made themes have a lot to do with how smoothly ShellWM runs, and ja450n yours are great...I think that Floyd25, even added one of your themes, based on my high recommendation of them...

Would love a Smooth Stripe version in Aqua, Graphite, and Blue...if possible...

i made a smotthstripes skin for eFX, which is like shellWM... and i ahve KoL's permission...

maybe i'll convert it if i have any time...

Fixed a lot of bugs....

Right now we are in testing - stage again. I worked two days

on that logoff- bug. Some apps even crash when you shutdown

while shellwm is still running. But I fixed it, also

the window movement thing etc is solved.

As soon as I get feedback from my tester

I'll update the download section ...

Man with the excellent job by our resident Firebird themer, Lynchknot on his MacAqua themes, (Macaquaskin & MacquablueS) are Smooth Stripes versions, & the great Smooth Stripes Board skin by Timan...

Would it not be nice to have a matching Smooth Stripe shellWM skin or even a Panther skin to compliment all this neat work...(btw: would need to have the authentic Mac font or something very similar IMHO)...

just a comment about WindowBlinds.

This has been said many times but windowblinds doesn't "eat" more resources than msstyle since windowblind skins classic window thus does not require the native xp theme service which uses just as much resources as windowblinds. If you tried it and felt it was slow, maybe that's because the xp theme service is running along with it. If disable it in adminstrative tools>services, wb will run more smoothly.

Another thing about wb is that it actually emulates osx better. And it's not just the traffic buttons on the right side. Scroll bars fit snug into their endcaps, buttons glow, also accurate osx mouseovers for the traffic buttons. You cant really see these stuff in screenshots so i suggest you people to try wb first hand... properly.

WB rocks... just about the only thing that sucks is it's price tag.

now back to the matter at hand: Let's see a Smooth Stripe ShellWM.
