VMware losing focus

Hi,

I've just installed RK Launcher and it's great, looks ace, does everything I want it too. But I use vmware all day everyday. Everytime I set focus to vmware I loose focus, effectively making me unable to use it at all.

I know that rk launcher is the culprit as I've used it for months and months with no problems and when I close rk launcher vmware works correctly again.

I'm running vmware server console v1.0.3

Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to get round it. It seems to be only vmware which is affected, every other app works correctly.

I've found out half of my problem, I have a dual monitor setup and my vmware was set to use my right hand monitor. If I move the window over to the left screen it works fine.

Anyone else had this?

EDIT:

I believe I have found a bug in rklauncher.

If you're on dual monitors and you position rklauncher on the right then you can't have any apps to the right of the launch bar. If I move the launch bar position to the left then my problem goes away.

There is a setting in the Behavior tab, "Never take Focus". I've just tried and the down side is the dock disappears, however if you use "Always on Top" the dock doesn't disappear and never takes focus.

Might be worth a try for you.

The setting 'Never Take Focus' worked a treat for me.

It's a cracking app this.
