Aqua-Soft ForumsI've installed AveScript, and executed the aveinstall package that I downloaded.
As you can see it's been correctly installed to the Desklet directory, but doesn't show up on the Desklet list. What could be wrong?
Cannot get OSXVolume to Work
Are you sure that's the actual OSXVolume folder? Maybe the desklet files are in a subfolder of that one...

Yep. I actually managed to get it to work by rebooting my comp and then running the .aveinstall again, but it still doesn't show up on the list.
However it's still not working properly in that it doesn't sync up with my volume or respond to volume changes (in other words, it does nothing).
What OS? It doesn't work with Vista. I haven't updated it yet for that.
It looks like its installed in the right place. BUT make sure the sub files are there.
Make sure that the plugins directory has the SoundMixer.DLL
Then make sure that all the other files are located in the osxvolume directory.. Not another sub.. but directly in the osxvolume directory.
Hey might as well jump on this thread. pcm OSXVolume for Vista would be great!

Yep, the SoundMixer.DLL is there.
I just noticed the error log, though, it says:

Sorry been away for awhile. if your getting that message that means your not using the latest version ave Avescripter.. You should go to the website and download the latest version.
