...turn on my screens, and move the mouse to wake up my computer.
What do I see? A bunch of flashing IMs on my desktop..
Every one starts with 'me' going: "hi -- wuz up -- youthere"? (3 different IMs)
then i get a horseload of other bullshit, and 'me' talking to -- get this --
3 HIGH RANKING UBUNTU DEVELOPERS. Basically just stupid crap like "do u liek clubspenguiners?"
Immediately I storm into my brother and sisters room, yank the remote out of my brothers hand and scream; "WHO THE F*CK WAS ON MY COMPUTER TODAY?"
Not a response. I ask again; "WHO THE F*CK WAS ON MY COMPUTER?!?!?"
My brother says "I was, why?"
You we're talking to people on my contact list you f*cking c*nt?!?!
Again, no response. I turn around and storm off, being sure to say "f*cking a** hole." on my way out.
Now I need to explain to quite a few people that "oh by the way, I wasnt the one talking before..." yadda yadda.
I'm furious. I don't know what the hell went through their minds when the decided to wake up my computer; and IM everyone on my list.
*sigh*
now before I get off for the night, and put my computer to sleep, I gotta
1.) set a password
2.) Lock my computer
Oh, wait, it gets even better.
I just purchased a Toshiba laptop for a bargain of $150...pretty damn good for 512MB of RAM, Core Solo 1.8GHz, and a 100GB HD...oh and 15.4" Widescreen Glossy.
Guess where I find it? Inside my brothers room. Luckily it has Ubuntu as its first GRUB choice, and being the ingrates they are they didn't know their way around it.
But, I guess it was sort of my fault for not password-protecting my session and Locking it up in the first place.
Now to get back at them tricky delinquents, I am going to block their precious clubgaypenguin on my routers so that when it wont load on ANY of the computers in the house I can just smirk and say "oh...they muse be down..."
Muhahaah.
Here is a reminder for those who don't live on their own (aka live with parents and/or siblings....especially when they are all younger than you, like mine)...PASSWORDS ARE KEY!
You really don't want this to happen to you. Take it seriously. Password protect you computer(s)
