There is one problem. When I make the nAMP window small, some of my playlists get hidden, so if I want to select one of the hidden ones I have to resize the window. It would be nice to have a scroll bar when some playlists get out of sight when the window is smaller.
Look at the attached pic for more info.

Re-posting Bug report ++:
-> If I use the search feature in a playlist or CD other than the library, it doesn't work. It would also be cool if the search could start as soon as you type 1 letter. As of now, it seems to start search on the 3rd and beyond.
-> After using the search function in the library and switch to a playlist, once I start deleting the search text, the word "searching..." comes on and stays there. I click on Library and nothing happens. I can't get back to the Library unless I restart nAMP.
-> The CD doesn't play one after the other. I have to click on the next button to continue.
-> Shift-Clicking on the library songs doesn't work properly as it seems to select everything from the bottom of the list to where I first selected. Control-click works fine.
-> Song Information text overlaps on the subtitles.
-> Graphic Frequency Analyzer: Works fine while the song is playing but press the pause button and the graph also stays frozen. On the Mac, clicking the pause makes the graph drop down to nil.
Hope this doesn't cause you guys too much trouble. ![]()
Thanks Mithrandel & Duckie!! This app rules
i noticed that the volume of sound on nAMP is alot quieter then the rest of the system.. i have to turn up my speakers really loud to hear it really good.. but then everything else in the background becomes blarring louder.. lol
dunno if thats a bug or not?

nAMP sometimes doesn't display the first character of my id3 tags -- and yes, I have the latest version (v0.2.41)
But even a bug like that won't stop me from using this proggie ![]()
edit:
Actually, now that I've just checked, it's the first *two* letters of the id3 tags, and not just the first. Hmm?
Also, I've noticed that playback seems to skip while I'm scrolling through pages in IE, could it have something to do with CPU Usage?
edit2!
Okay, so now, I just noticed that all of the letters missing from the ID3 tags are the songs with the combination of "th" in them (the, them, etc.) Hmm?
here was my original post on the other thread:
"i came on two errors to look into at some point... here's how i came upon them: first running the program, asks to import music in... click yes, starts looking for music... click cancel while it's in the process, click continue, then finish... get an error then, shuts down the program.
now when i try to reopen the program and i click no to search my hard drives. starts fine... when i go to add a directory, though, the add to library comes up and anywhere i click my mouse, it shuts down the whole program, no error, just completely kills it.
running 0.2.0.23"
now i'm running 0.2.0.41, this is all still happening... the error message when you cancel the search for music is:
Runtime error '9' Subscript out of range
thanks
I'm not sure why, but the songs start to sound garbled when I leave nAMP playing for very long (like a few hours).
Whenever something in the playlist is "The", it shows up as only "e"
Similar to above, if the song title has a word with "th" in it (i.e. The, These, There, etc...) The "th" gets cut off each word.
When I use the shift key and click to select more then one song in my library and try to drag all the songs to a playlist, it only takes the one file I click instead of all the highlighed files...
I've noticed that if you press play while a song is still going, it will go back to the last song played.
Also i'm experiencing the Th missing off the start of artist and song titles.
Otherwise great job! :own:
When I press shift and then click to select multiple files, nAmp quits without writing to the .ini files. Just dies a quick, sudden death. Ctrl+click is fine. Shift+click equals dead nAmp. Weird.

sometimes, when i open nAMP and try to play a song, it does not resond in playing the song. It will act as if it was playing but nothing comes out.
I have the latest .41 build, but I still get some funny business with letters missed off the front of song/album titles.
Cheers! ![]()
hmm, not sure if this is only me, but nAMP does not play when trillian is opened before nAMP. SO in order for me to play from nAMP and chat using trillian, i have to open nAMP first, then trillian. Or else nAMP does not work and i have to log off and log back on again.
mabey when we do the earch feature we can select the folders or drives we want check for songs..? possilbly cuase
whenever i search for files. itcoems up wit 3000 sumthing files.. now after that.. when it wants to udate the library it will freez once hte o****er gets upto 2,900 or so songs.. PS. i have my music on a diff physical drive.. and namp installed ont he drive wiht hte music.. ...
i just downloaded the newest version today, the cd functionality is not working for me... tried it different ways, no cd in the drive then starting the program ... cd already in the drive then starting namp... i go into the preferences and turn on the support for it, hit ok and the program just crashes everytime.
btw, i meant version: v0.3.12
just downloaded v0.3.16 and haven't actually used namp yet (first try of namp.. thought i'd see how its going)....
its doing the same thing that spidercrabx mentioned in another namp bug thread- stalling on the media information scan. Stalled on 516 of 4000 the first time and then 532 the 2nd time.
I'll update if anything changes.
v0.3.16 as with the previous versions, nAMP Displays some of my songs as a totally WRONG bitrate.. seriously.. if i click the folder in which my songs reside, and click to show details, and bit-rate. the bitrate is 128kpbs and namp displays thems as 8kpbs?!?!??!!
I've never any problem with the bitrate being displayed incorrectly. The only problem I see is the overlapping of the data over the titles.
Don't know if anybody has ever reported this here.
The file-browser doesn't work for me. I don't see any folder with a customized icon (changed with MicroAngelo)
I didn't tried the last version yet (0.3.16)
nAMP lags and "stutters" and "skips" when scrolling in Internet Explorer. I have the latest version as well, and the mouse scroll still does not work.
It seems like the MP3 playing ability is off because while I try to play songs, if I'm doing something in teh background, it will skip and screw up..?
