I have a mac and I wanted to know how (if possible) to turn a folder's icon into a png... I know how to take a png and turn it into a folder icon...
You just can download all Tiger and Panther icons in PNG from this post in my blog. If you really need to convert icons, try open icons by Preview and save it as PNG, that's all. Though it depends on the original icon format.
Drag the folder icon into Pixadex and then export it as a .icns.
