Thank god people griped about this yesterday... mass response = wonders.
100$ is better than nothing, still sucks tho. Guess I'll get apple care for my phone now.
Yeah, it is nice to see some love from Apple
. On the other hand, how many other companies would do something like this in the first place?
Also, Sci-Fi, thanks for taking the initiative and trying to create a Newspost. I was happy to move the thread for you

I don't have an iPhone yet so I don't care about this. I am glad that they did a price drop on the iPhone. Would be cheaper for me to get. ![]()
that's $100 apple credit. not as good as cash, but a nice gesture. hey, jobs...i get a gesture for ya! ![]()
I'm surprised Apple gave up anything.
Anyone who knows the cellphone business, knows that prices drop pretty quick.
You want to be the first to own one, you're gonna pay.
My RAZR was $400 when it was released... 4 months later it was $149. That's just the way the industry works.
Sure, the people who just bought it a few days before the price change should get a refund, but the rest don't deserve jack.
Looks like the cry babies won. :slant:
I agree with rjhonstone....
Though it's really nice on Apple's part, I don't like the fact that cry babies got paid for their senseless crying.
And now, a follow up story. Enjoy!
