New RKLauncher "Leopard Inspired" installer release!

Hi guys, I have compiled a new installer for RKLauncher. It comes with the "Stacks" simulation out of the box so you don't have to drive yourself nuts anymore to get it to work.

Due to we have Hot Link Protection enabled in our server I'm not able to post a direct download link so I will post a link to the download thread in our board. You do NOT have to register an account to be able to download this installer. Just click the download link and you'll get it.

At first the installer fail,until about the 4th and up till now runs good,but I found that the stack icon on the dock never appeared,it was good but not now,when you click the blank icon all the folder comes up no problem.Anyway,your stack icon are still in the left side,should be on the right side,thank's

Excellent Stacks docklet Husaini HB but the ini file in your download is named this "Leopard Stacks.ini" and should be named this "LeopardStacks.ini" to work in KKMenu 280.

Thank you Ghostwalker,but I don't know what you mean in my download,because this is not mine,this is skyjohn link,in my screenshot,I used it with Rocketdock and works find,when I used the ini file on from skyjohn on RKLauncher doesn't even appeared/not function at all,but the other skin function properly except the stack icon on the the dock

Remove the space from the ini file and it will work in RK Im using it now works perfect.

Yes,better,I got the wrong folder for the RKlauncher,now it works,but the stack icon I have set in the dock still doesn't appeared,I have to find it again

Yes it happened to me,every time you change the default stack icon and then disappeared,I think at the moment we couldn't/shouldn't change the stack icon,just used the default/given,that is the solution,and we can not put more than one stack/kk menu,I still used Rocketdock,because found no problem at all,that's up to you

Hi guys, first of all let me tell you that the XP installer is almost ready. I'm currently uploading it it at 3kb/s I know really slow cos' I'm uploading it from a Virtual Box.

Now let me explain something about the STACKS icon. As far as you don't change the icon you shouldn't have problems displaying it. So if the Stacks icons doesn't show up after the installation THEN we have a problem and I need you to report it so I can fix it.

Now: If after installing the RK you try to change the icon it will disappear (won't show up) Why?

well I didn't code that application (kkmenu) which is what was used to add the STACKS simulator...

Here is how to fix that issue:

1- Change the STACKS icon to the one you like. (STACKS icon won't show up when you change it)

2- Close (Exit) RK Launcher so it saves the configuration

3- Go to your RKLauncher installation folder (C:/Program Files/RKLauncher/RKLauncher 0.41 Beta Naughty/

4- Open your itemlist.CONF with notepad and find this:

C:Program FilesRK LauncherRK Launcher 0.41 Beta Nightlyicons(YOUR NEW STACKS ICON.png)

So here is the important thing: Your slashes ( ) should have change to ( / ) and that's what causes your STACKS icon not to show up.

Just change all slashes (/ back to ... Save those changes

5- Open RKLauncher over again Your STACKS icon displays now...

I have just discovered RK Launcher and I love it. Simply adore it. Especially as on my corporate laptop I cannot do much due to limited access to some functions. But now - it is just great.

Yoni 5002 - GREAT JOB

One question. Is it possible to have 2 stacks docklet run at the time - I would like to use it for different functions. Has anyone done it? I have tried myself to add it twice and there is an error message.

That's weird. It has worked for everyone else.

Please make sure to Close (Exit) RK Launcher before you go modify those slashes. Try again and see if that helps...

For the new one works all right even in XP,but I haven't try using 2 KKMenu.And for iShut config doesn't work in me,but the apps work all right.I thing 2 most important thing Yoni5002 has to update are:can used 2KKMenu,and make it dock skin a bit bigger on the left & right end,thank's,keep the good work,sir

Works great. I've got a few links that don't work, but that's probably because applications are in places that it didn't expect to be.

Right now, I don't have any idea where to put when I've got it running.
