i know i sound funny.. you know whenever there is a active window the taskbar will tell you that by flashing it? well.. with objectbar around i will not know..
so any idea on how to do this with objectbar still around? (i know i can turn off objectbar to see the taskbar)'

your running rk launcher right? I've never heard of anyone using ob without it.. if you are windows will minimize their and bounce (vs flashing) when promted, the unactive windows that arnt minimized should blink/flash behind your current window which is just as good as the taskbar by default,
i use rocketdock..not difference.. as in some of the minimized alert are not on the dock
(for windows live messenger, if a person talks to you... a small alert will appear.. then gone. so if i missed that alert i will not know if anyone has talked to me. it does not show on the dock because i did not minimize it. it is minimized at start.)
