that's so lame.. its just light projecting on air. That will never be used for anything more than special effects. The waving of the airscreen makes conventional use impossible... although it dose open alot of doors for new inventions

Yes ever so lame, of course you have a much better solution to create images in thin air. Please enlighten me. Why are people so quick to disregard an idea just because the concept is simple. As you said it opens the door for alot, so how is it lame, especially the interaction part.

Personally I think it is quite cool, i dont expect it to be revolutionary any time soon, mainly because it doesn't seem to economical churning out compressed air, and obviously the quality of the image is a long way off todays standards. All in all though this is promising and credit to these people.
