Good mac apps to get

Alright, i just got osx running on my machine and i was wondering what good apps i need to get.

i already have firefox quicksilver and adium. what else do you guys suggest?

Onyx, Halo Demo (if you game) and iStat Pro widget.

i actually had just gotta the istat widget. is there the thing that you can make your own widgets with? the GUI one
