How can one align the desktop icons to the right?
I don't think there is a registry setting for align-to-right....you'll need to drag and place them where required.....use 'Align to Grid' though...that should help you with vertical spacing and alignment....and make sure 'Auto Arrange' is off or all icons will be aligned to the top-left....

deadzombie did the tutorial i just made a page out of it. dont ask where he found it cause thats all he does is mod his desktop
Thanks Timan about Wintidy. As I saw some time ago, I find a verry good application 'XP Customizer' a tweaker utility, that can do between else, to 'mount' a CD-ROM or CD-RW or DVD-ROM icon shortcut on the desktop, ONLY if the disc is in the drive (like in MacOS). But the new CD icons are mounted in the left part. Now, the problem I hope is solved. Unfortunately, for somebody of you need, I don't know exactly the address of XP Customizer, but you can find it with Google. Try it, if you didn't yet.
Once upon a time I came up with a registry setting in Windows 98 that alligned desktop icons to the right.
Unfortunately, it's one line of text in a few gigs of files in my HD and CDs.
Will let u know if I manage to find it ![]()
