Aqua-Soft ForumsOddly enough, I do. And I don't know why. Despite the fact that the MacBook Pro is and looks like a "pro" product, I somehow just prefer the white and/or black plastic of the MacBook. I also like the fact the MacBook lacks a latch, and that it has a "sunken" keyboard. I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I'm just wondering if anyone else likes the look of the MacBook better.
Does anyone prefer the aesthetics of the MacBook to the MacBook Pro?
I was actually considering getting a MacBook (white), and painting a dark blue stripe at the bottom, but I preferred the specs of the MBP. The white MB is excellent looking, but I don't much like the black one.
The white keyboard and the glossy plastic feel make the MB a more desirable product for me, however I'd rather have the MBP specs (independent graphics etc.).
The black however feels kinda odd.
As it turns though, Apple is going aluminum steadily (see special event), and the days of glossy plastic may soon be over...
I love MBP's look over MB anytimes, expect for one thing. The new keyboard of macbook, if I get the same keys with illumination on MBP.... I'm buying it. Wait a sec... I'm buying MBP anyway, doh!!
I like the keyboard of the MacBook more than the MacBook Pro. I like that the MacBook has a user-replaceable hard drive and a magnetic latch.
