1. i want to encrypt my whole hard disk at my laptop using "pgp desktop, whole system encryption". will i be able to make an image file of the c:/ (windows xp) partition using acronis true image while it's encrypted?
2. the microphone is not working not the laptop one as well. i can't talk with skype for example or recording anything else. here are some screen shots.
3. my portable hard drive caused blue screens tow times. i bought it just few days ago. the brand is "memorex". 120GB (111 the real size). one of the blue screens appeared after disconnecting the usb cable from the hard drive if i remember right. the usb power cable has to be connected as well as the hard drive and on and off all the time with out the additional power. i'm using lenovo laptop. one thing that i did is to convert the file system to NTFS other than fat32 as was the requirement when i used a backup software (genie)
4. sometimes jabber IM is not working with pidgin.
it usally start to work again after some time. why?
any help with these problems?
