I know flyakite OS X is great, but soon, it will missbehave again, and will destroy my system again, but what I think, is that as long as you backup your data and your personal files, there wont be any problem, and you can toy with your computer and do funny stuff and destroy windows and get your Windows XP disc and restorevery thing back to normal and not have a problem, thats what I do when I do funny stuff and experiments on windows. But I need to know where I can get something like Apple`s time machine, does any one know the best and free backup utility that automaticly stores all your data into a DVD? I know, I can search. but I dont think will find what I want...

I use batch files and Nero controlled by the command line to back my stuff up.
Otherwise, I think Windows has a backup utility built in..
you could always go to your local disk (the one with XP/vista/wtv) installed on it and just select all the folders that are there. Documents and Settings holds a majority of your stuff, program files, etc.
Do the same thing with other HD's.
Then copy it onto a dual layer DVD, and if you run out of space, Nero will probably tell you that there is not enough space and it will ask you if you want to create it with multiple DVD's.
Acronis, but only if you have the 50 bucks to drop on it. Set up right, you have an easy to pick off disk image to go back to if Windows decides one day it doesn't want to load anymore. The trial saved my bacon when Windows got fried on my old drive while trying to migrate to a new one.
That's as far as an image program goes, and IMO the best way to precisely preserve your preciously tweaked E-Mac-ulation with its Registry hacks and everything set just so. As far as a regular shadow/file based backup? I'd say stick to the built-in tool, and I don't say that often at ALL.
Saving an image of Windows? Thats what I want! Exactly what I want, I have millions of Blank DVD disks, can some one tell me how to save an image of windows or something like that?

Yeah, my Compaq Presario has that, but what I think, is when you do a system restore, or you restore windows with a windows XP disc, every thing is gone right? so with a disc image of windows and a little program, you can just put it in and not loose anything with a Windows image (I think) but I dont know how to do that...
System Restore is about like a rough file-type based shadow copy. If Windows decides one day it doesn't want to boot, period (and yeah, I mean the Safe Mode kind, too) from an unfixable sort of screw-up, or some other high-level disaster occurs (like, say, your regular hard drive blows up or smokes like burnt toast), then a straight full-blown bootable image (such as Acronis, among other programs, can cook up) is the only saving grace.
