Real Desktop - The new Desktop f. Windows

Hi there -

this is just a link to a little app, that's fun to try out.

I don't see much use of it, but however, it's free to try (meaning you can use it for one hour and more time you won't spent using it most likely anyway).

It'll make your desktop more "real" - so you can grab your shortcuts, throw them around and make heaps of them.

It's good looking, fun for some time -

for someone who isn't into the widget and dock thing it might even be worth considering...

After all some people still have their desktop invaded by shortcuts... ;)

As said, I don't use it myself, but after I saw an early demonstration I at least had to try it...

(you have to enable "Show desktop shortcuts" for it to work... don't know about compatibility with other desktop stuff)

edit: I had just promised myself I wouldn't install this kind of stuff on the new laptop coming next week... I guess the damage is done now that I've seen it :P

I saw this demoed awhile back on youtube or Google...can't remember which. Might be cool for a quick look. Thanks for the link - didn't know they finally releases a working version.

yeah, those application are always fun to try but useless and get boring quite fast.

Bumptop seems to be dead by now, the website hasn't been updated for 2 years now.
