Clouds of Glory Wallpaper

The Clouds of Glory Wallpaper I created was derived from a recent photoshoot in Marietta, GA. It was a very nice day for taking pictures, and the clouds were casting light in a really incredible fashion. Some of my shots of the clouds show the light seeping through holes just a bit... although not quite enough for a really great effect.

After playing a bit with the color balance in photoshop, this is a wallpaper I created for you folks!

Dang Venom, you must have quite the monitor

I shoot in RAW, and I can go much, much larger than that. I think it will be a bit more noisy at that resolution, but let me see what I can do for ya.

I'd post at that resolution on Wallpapers for Vista, but it's a brand new site, and it doesn't generate the revenue to pay for those kinds of resources... yet.

It's really big. Wallpapers for Vista does not yet support this size wallpaper in the browser (only up to 1920x1200), but will sometime in the future.

Great shot... must give raw a go myself.

RAW is good for post processing, and capturing quite a bit more pixel data. It's especially useful for altering things like White balance and color styles / exposure settings after taking a shot. I shoot with a Rebel XTi which can pump out something like 22x17 inch prints.
