Thats WAT CRASHED MY COMPUTER!!!

#466560

R'ly?

Well fill us in, how did it happen Canax

IF it is what you say it is, maybe it can serve as a warning to future users

Well, if you are a "Windows with Mac Style" user, you may have the "Finderbar" program, that emulates the Finderbar in Mac. It has an option in VIEW, there says: As Column, As List and As Icon. Just picking one of those three, you get the bug in the pic.

EDIT: See? Now it's repaired

Its that Thread that moderators closed :My computer Died, Adios" Thread, in computing discussion.

@Nitsuga, did yo restart?

Hoping you don't get the BSoD

#466569

I think its only you who got the Blue screen of death

Nitsuga, nice emulation :)

#466571

Thanks guys. I hope not to get the BSoD too :)

#466573

That looks more like thumbnails than shortcuts? Maybe you need to let Landvermesser know about this if it's happening to more than one person.

#466574

Well, it gets repaired just by restarting the system. Anyway, I dont know how to contact him.

Detail: It also ruined my Hard Drive . :(

Somehow I doubt this mod trashed your drive. :slant:

More like user error on your part.

@nitsuga

Nice desktop.

One of these programs, drives, etc caused the BSoDs

Windowblinds Threat

Out-of date Graphics card (Or Driver)

Finderbar "View"

scrollbar order in firefox (mac style)

Older versions of Mozilla Apps

6 years old

@rjohnstone: Witch one would you say would most likely be it?? Just send a RE: or PM. (i need to know cause i won't let my new/future comp. get screwed up)

#466596

I see no need for a PM.

BSOD's are typically caused by a hardware problem.

i.e., bad/corrupt driver or a piece of hardware that is failing.

There are occasions that an application will cause it, but those apps try and interfere with the OS at the kernel level and cause it to panic.

Most skinning apps don't touch the OS at that level, including Windowblinds.
