Can't Open Folders

So my problem in short is that I can't open any file folders by double clicking. When I double click, the find window opens (I'm using Win XP)

I'm pretty sure I know what I did. I went to change the file folder icon, so I went to Control Panel>Folder Options and then the File Types tab. I clicked on File Folder and changed the icon.

But what I think happened is that I somehow changed the actions of the folder. Under actions, it says "find" and I'm positive it's supposed to say "open" At least that's what I think.

So what I'm wondering is if it is indeed supposed to say "open" and if it is, what path that I need to type in?

I've had this problem in the past, it's a real pain in the butt.

I'm a bit confused though. When I click "download" it takes me to a page with text like this:

Set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
p1 = "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTDirectoryshell"
p2 = "none"

Am I supposed t copy that or something? I thought I needed to download something but I can't find anything to download.

Sorry buddy, it has been while since I done it and missed a little step.

On the D/L link right click and select "save link as".

That should gave you the chance to save it as a VB script.

Once it's down, just double click the VB file.

Hope that makes sense.
