Nothing To Do With Aqua - About Rc Cars

I know this isnt the place but I also figured that since we're all so technical it would be a better place to post that all of the pr0n boards I'm on ;)

I want to move up on my collection of RC cars and I don't want to hit up radio shack for another dune buggy/rally car. Does anyone have a good idea where I can get a good start , with decent prices? If possible, I'd even like to build my own. I just need to keep costs down.

Preferred models would be Porsche , Lamborghini, or Ferrari.

Thanks for all of your help.

Well you can try www.modelsport.co.uk for Mail Delivery and www.ApexModels.co.uk. I prefer ModelSport my self. When you buy a new kit car form these they usially give you a starter pack with one servo for sterring, one motor, receiver, speed controller and remote. These starter pack are allright, but if you want to go into it big time then you may have to upgrade some bits.

For bodies, I would go to www.Tamiya.com who make really detailed bodies and good chassies. But their bodies are very expensive. You could try www.hpi-europe.com or www.hpiracing.com who also do bodies and chassies. I have a HPI Sprint chassi with the purple Porsche 911 Turbo body that came with it.

Hope that helps you, any more questions give me a shout.
