Dragging on and off the dock works OK here...at least for folders and applications...I tried one of each.
I share the same fate as Goku. Drag and drop just does not work at times. My experience is that whenever I drag a shortcut to an app or an app itself to the dock, it closes! It happens 80% of the time.
My drag and drop is toast also! 3 out of 4 other then that it is a nice dock best so far for Windows.
solution for drag n drop:
unzipp the appli with WINZIP and not winrar (marvilla queen of justice has the credits).

dock has a killing magnification and with the imac i got which turns me into an ass-zit geek, i can tell you that i get confused somtimes

I'm having some problems with the new Yz Dock and my TV tuner application. I had this same problem with version 0.4 but 0.3 works fine. The problem is whenever i open my application, DScaler, in windowed mode i just get a black screen instead of a video window. Full screen works fine but when I return to windowed mode it goes all black. When I try the default ATI (slow ass) tv application it does the exact opposite, works in windowed but not full screen. I'd love to use 0.4.2 with the indicator and the bouncing icons but I use my TV tuner too much and rather not have to close Y'z every time I want to use it.

I had the same problem with YZ Dock with the .41 version.
To fix it, I used winzip to extract the files to a new directory, copied my icons folder into the new one, and went through the process of re-creating my links. I think it might have been some sort of problem with the folder of icons. I'm not sure if I just had a bad file or what, but it works now, only it kind of freezes for a few seconds (to draw the previews I guess) and then works normally.
Another thing, I mentioned this in another post somewhere, but I'm still having the problem on occasion where a part of a window that I have minimized lingers in the dock area. Kind of a redraw issue. After playing around with this to figure it out, it only happens if I have the windows task bar either hidden or "unlocked". I tried this with object bar running and it happened as well (the windows bar was hidden). This may not be only a YZ Dock issue, as it has happened to me with Object dock too.
One thing I noticed today with V.42 is that shortpopup seems to work a lot slower with Yz dock than with Objectdock. I have an icon on both docks that is labeled "folders" which points to a folder with shortpopup and four shortcuts to other folders. With Objectdock the shortpopup menu appears nearly instantaneously when I click on the dock icon, however, with Yz dock it takes almost 4 seconds for the submenu to open - totally too slow. I tried turning off the icon "bounce" but that had no effect on the speed of opening the shortpopup menu. Not sure if it's truly a Yz dock bug, but thought I'd report it here as at least a performance problem.

yeah, i also get that 4sec wait, but havent tried with objectdock yet.. i wonder what could be the matter.. hope yz finds a fix for it in version .5 or smething
