I don't think Multi Plugin supports 7.3 ![]()
Are u sure?? This a bad new for me?? Grrrrr
When I tried it just froze iTunes & it shut down on me, works on 7.0.2 though, I downgraded to use it.

i think he's asking cuz this has been discussed quite a bit. localhost hasn't updated multiplugin since 7.0.2.

Ahh, ok. Is summer and I go to the sea. ![]()
soooooo how do u downgrade to get the latest multiplugin to work with itunes. everytime i click on a link to get an older version so that it will work it just sends me to the new 7.3.2 and it's PISSING ME OFF! LOL
have a look at that sticky thread above this one.
theres a bundled version including itunes and MP.
so you dont have to search and download itunes separately
do you guys know if localhost plans further versions of MP?
or did he stop MP forever?

Woo, first post. Last I heard, LocalHost only plan to update MultiPlugin at every new full version of ITunes. So as it stands, we might be stuck with this one until v8. Then again, a lot of people are upset after updating, so who knows.
I could go back to v7.2, but I really don't want to have to deal with the potentially bad side effects of a clean install. I've heard horror stories so... I'll just deal with my boring ITunes for now. ![]()
As often as Apple updates their shizz, I can see why Localhost only wants to do major releases.
You think we can beg him on the grounds of people wanting to be able to use iPhones without losing the Multiplugin stuff? That's kind of major to some.
Meh, don't quote me on it, I don't even have an iPhone. I was lucky to get a 1st Gen Nano.
I don't think he's even making Multi-Plugin anymore, its blatantly obvious he's quit.

that would be a pity!
Well between the iPhone and now the new iPods, it should be called major.
But NOOOOoooooo, they had to be number conservative NOW and make it 7.4.
And if Localhost did stop, what a shame. Someone should pick up the slack on his behalf (if he IS quitting and he's ok with passing the torch).
iTunes 7.4 is definitely a major Update , compared to 7.0.2
- Fullscreen Coverflow
- iTunes plus
- New iPods and iPhone support
- Vista support <---very important
- Other improvements
So could localhost or someone else please make an update? I'm sitting here with an ****ing ugly iTunes on Vista T_T
Yes, would be very nice if localhost could make a multi plugin for iTunes 7.4... it's so damn ugly under windows without mp ![]()
Some Vista support.. my iTunes always causes Aero to turn off since i got 7.4.
ok,another question:
are there any other possibilities to skin itunes in mac style than MP?
if I just like the skinning effect(ok,I like the other features too ;-) ) can someone help us people who no longer want to use an ugly itunes??
:-)
alpha2zulu,
Something is seriously wrong with your install of iTunes if it is making you fall back to the basic look. The last several builds have had this fixed and even have Vista style buttons instead of the XP style buttons of earlier builds. Also iTunes knows what OS your on, so if you are in XP, it shows the old buttons, if your in Vista it shows Vista style buttons. Make sure you aren't running it under compatibility mode, as this will make iTunes flip from Aero to Basic and back again.
hello!
itunes 7.4 is released since a few weeks. will come an update for multiplugin??
greets from g'old germany!
Personally, I wouldn't count on it anytime soon. Localhost must be suffering from the Real Life Syndrome.
iTunes v8.0 anyone? =)
