Connect iPods using Bluetooth to MacBook?

Is it possible to connect an iPod to a MacBook through Bluetooth or someway so I don't have to use a USB?

If you're out of sockets, you can always get a USB hub.

Yea I have one but I would like to connect to my iPods wirelessly because I like having just my laptop with no cables.

Currently there are no Bluetooth adaptors for iPod that can let you do this. So out of question.

I don't think it will ever be available assuming they use this newly acquired patent.

What if I was to hook them up through an Apple AirPort? I have an AirPort Extreme Base Station and I know you can hook up External Harddrives and Printers but what about iPods. I'll try later on.

EDIT: I tried but it wouldn't work. I could connect and open up the iPod folder but couldn't sync or see in iTunes with it.

In Short : iTunes doesn't support, syncing iPod wirelessly... neither via bluetooth nor WiFi.... at least not yet ;)

slightly off topic, but this would be very cool

Until you lost your smart charger or broke a cable.

Im sure there will be some way of fixing that though. I think they still have to build on that idea. Make it so that you can use it with other chargers but nobody else can. Maybe like a screenlock type thing. Or a fingerprint scanner!?
