[help] I Removed The Taskbar But Space Is There

if this topic already came up, i apologize... i ran a small program to get rid of the taskbar/start button (hide taskbar, or whatever it's called), but it seems like all it does is make it invisible... when maximizing any program, it still is "showing" about a centimeter of space on the bottom of the screen that now just goes unused. i can't figure out how to truly get rid of that taskbar. again, i apologize if this has been covered for the umpteenth time, but i'm just a rookie.

Is your taskbar locked, or not, if it is not, it might still show a little of it at the bottom of the screen.

Set the taskbar on "autohide" before hiding.
