hi everybody!
i downloaded thunderbird and i wanted to install the safari theme from lynchknot.
so i downloaded the theme and have chosen it in options - themes but this had
no effect (i restarted thunderbird but nothing happened :rant: )
does anybody know why ?

Well, thunderbird has been going through loads of changes and UI movement, so if Lynchknot hasnt updated his theme, it simply may not work right now.

ok, i think thunderbird 0.1 is too new that any skins already work...so we must
be patient by using skins <_<

I sent off 4 Thunderbird 1.5b themes, but they have not updated yet.
*actually, i'm going to update all of them at my site right now.
ok thank you very much lynchknot...i will check them out tomorrow, dont hurry

well ok i dont get it quite well here:
the latest version of thunderbird is 0.1 and not 1.5b...but there is a mozilla version 1.5b...are your skins for mozilla or thunderbird or both 
i can install all themes on thunderbird 0.1 but they dont work...nothing happens...so i guess this thunderbird version 0.1 is not skinnable yet wright ?

thx for the link...btw i installed your safari theme for 1.5 on thunderbird 0.1 and it works but i have no icons (only text) :cry: is it possible to have icons too ? :shy:

Well, as long as you're bowing to me - I care. 
Go to: View/Toolbars/Customize - where is says "Show" it will say text, icons, etc.
:bow: :bow: i think i have to bow for another couple of hours or days
cause changing this has no effect. it seems that i have absolutely no icons in it...
when i choose customizing, no icons in there...
is it me or is it thunderbird ?

well...i think i must remember mr. lynchknot that the safari theme for
thunderbird is not working properly with the newest thunderbird release.
the other three themes on his page are working, but not the safari theme
(no icons9.
please please please lynchknot, cant you fix this ... i also bow :bow:

Did you get it from my site? They may have not updated themes at Thunderbird help.
I'm using it now with the latest build.
of course i downloaded it from your site, it THE site for skins !
for thunderbird you got 4 skins....and 3 work and saf doesnt work.

well i would if i could but i cannot (this is a great sentence)...ok...clicking on SAF to download it it says "...timed out by attempting to connecto to..."....well i try later

the thunderbird themes section still doesnt work
so mr. lynchknot...i could download your SAFth-File and it works fine with
icons and all (Y) (Y) (Y)
this is really a great skin...i only can recommend to kick internet explorer
off the system and use mozilla firebird and thunderbird with your Safari
skins....the best lookin browser and mail application of this galaxy

I am using Lynchknot's Saf theme for thunderbird but there is one problem with it and the latest build (0.2a) None of the folders on the left bar or messages are highlighted when clicked on. This makes it difficult to see what message im previewing and what folder im working in. Is there any easy fix for this ?
Sorry, i'm not going to continue updating themes every week. The Devs are breaking themes week after week. I have enough work with Firebird being broken as well. When development slows I will get back to it - thanks.
