Those are all pretty old graphics cards, so I suspect that they will all have less than 128MB of ram.

when ever I buy a new gfx card, I always make sure it has double what my old card had in terms of ram.

my current pc card has 512Mb DDR ram.. so I have to get one with 1024 Mb

anyway, I'd say go for a mid range 9000 randeon if your not gonna get a moden setup.

a 9600 or such.

ho.. I'm not an expert on hardware either...

I actually know nothing about graphic cards, but I was looking at a max alienware/dell gaming config which maxed out with a GeForce 8800 Ultra at 768mb....

now.. am I missing something here? Cause most vista-running pc's have 1-2 gb of ram.. which would cost.. $2,000-$4,000 worth of graphics cards?(if it's even possible to use multiple gfx cards)

anyways i did my research

GeForce 3Ti = 64 meg ddr ram = £42 (how much is this?)

Radeon 8500 = 64MB

wikipedia said radeon 8500 is faster than geforce 3Ti

GeForce 4Ti = 128 MB BGA DDR Memory (i dont know the price)

GeForce FX5700 = 256 MB memory (how much is this?)

Radeon 9000 = 128MB of memory

can i buy GeForce 4Ti? will this be ok for my motherboard?

or what cheap motherboard with standard quality can accept GeForce FX5700?

do you know the prices in dollars?

also is it ok for my motherboard if i buy myself a 512 RAM memory?

what is your mothrtboad?

if it has a AGP slot you should get an old randeon or geforce.

unless you really want to play moden games then I would save up for a new rig.

anyone knows about names of good brand on motherboard?

give me the names of the motherboards brands please.

i'll just google them and then review it.

im planning to change my motherboard too.

please recommend something that could accept the GeForce FX5700

and if posible the cheapest or standard one that you know.

asia is a poor country as you see.

that is why my specs are so outdated.

yes i intend to play Ragnarok 2 Online that is going to come out this year.

but there is a beta release now.

#465741

Asus is good.

try to find one with agp if you want to use the FX5700.

#465839

what is AGP stands for?

if i want a GeForce with 512MB can i use it to that asus with AGP also?

#465875

Motherboards with AGP slots are getting hard to find. Most companies don't even make them anymore.

Motherboards with PCI-X (Express) slots are fairly standard now.

can i go for intel or gigabyte in my motherboard?

a friend told me that i should refrain the asus.

#465949

I typically stick to genuine Intel motherboards.

They are more reliable and have better warranty coverage.

Yes, they do cost a bit more than some others, but you get what you pay for.

That being said, I've never had any issues with Asus boards myself. You get a bad one every once and a while, but that can be said for any company.

#465957

i saw a lot of intel advertisements here.

probably i'd go for intel now.

do you know the names of RAM memory brands?
