Multiple Docks and Vertical Margin

One thing that sets other dock programs from RKLauncher is the multiple dock feature. ObjectDock and Rocket Dock both have a feature that allows more than one dock at any given time. I would like RKLauncher to use this feature aswell.

Another feature ObjectDock and Rocket Dock use is the vertivle margin adjustment. This is useful in the case someone wants their taskbar and dock on the bottom. RKLauncher does not yet allow this, but I believe in future updates, it will be added.

You can have multiple instances of RK. You just need to unzip (unpack) the files into another folder, and away you go. ;)

As for the margin, I can't say. Personally I can't see the point of have a dock on top the taskbar. For me it's either one or the other.

um I use Rocket Dock and there is no feature that allows more than one dock at time, unless it's in the current beta?

I haven't used RocketDock in a while, but I am pretty sure you can add another dock. If not, I am sorry. :P

I seem to remember that a recent release of RocketDock allows you to create a portable version of the app~ so maybe you could have multiple instances running if you create 1 portable version. Copy the entire directory, rename one's directory and RocketDock.exe and try launching them both.

Just install RK launcher twice, and if in a seperate directory, it should both have it's own seperate settings.

As for vertical alignment, it's one of the few features in rocketdock that I wish was on RK launcher. I mean.. if you were doing it for the sake for visual purposes.. then a really stupid way to do it would to add a transparent layer under the dock theme/icons, and adjust the configuration file..
