Hey, I'm having trouble locating the .jar files I'm using in both Firefox and Thunderbird. I know I've made multiple copies of my Thunderbird skin, when I was modding it a bunch, but I need to find it, so I can mod it to be released with Myre. So, is there a way I can have firefox and thuinderbird point me to the location of the skin I'm using?
Finding the current FF skin file?
You're a brave man to be working with a live file... It is an easy way to corrupt the setting of your personal files of each program. But anyway...
You can find the Firefox files in this directory:
C:Documents and SettingsYOUR PROFILE NAMEApplication DataMozillaFirefoxProfilesYOUR FIREFOX PROFILE NAME OR NUMBERExtensions
However, you will need to know the know the GUID number of your file to easily find it. The GUID number looks something like this:
{b2ce5f02-48b4-4a5f-82f9-faa05ce450c3}
If you don't have that then you must open all the directories in this folder to find the .jar file you are looking for.
As for Thunderbird, I'm not sure but I would imagine that it is set up the same way as Firefox.
Good luck.
