iTunes Lag

Alrite, so whenever my iTunes changes to the next song after the song is done, my entire computer freezes for about 5 seconds; and all I can do is move my mouse.

This is really annoying.. is there anyone to fix it?

i got 256 and i hate it, i dropped itunes im using wmp justj for the lyrics plugin... but im buyin a new comp real soon so yeah

I have the same problem. I'm using iTunse 7.02 with mplugin. The reason, I'm using this plugin is, that itunes is bocking my PC by 110% without it (even, if its the only running process).

But if im using the plugin, it is "just" blocking it for 3 sec, after a new song being played. It's f****** annoying! has anyone an idea? I have 756 MB high quality ram. greets didi

I have no problems so far with iTunes, but it could also be a problem with the CPU or the round per minute of the HDD.

Does the error only occurs with iTunes?

Do you use nod32 as your anti-virus program? There are issues with that AV and iTunes. You'll need to exclude the iTunes folder (Documents and SettingsMy DocumentsMy MusiciTunes) from being searched.

Of course, if you don't use nod32 then you can ignore my suggestion. =p
