What do you use the Dashboard icon for?
I use it on the dock to call up Avedesk's showcase. I don't use it for actual avedesk shortcuts, though. I personally like the default ones better.

Is there a way to make the control panel from avedesk open from a dock icon?

well heres how ya do it -
If avedesk is still running.... then simply point ur dock icon to the main executable of avedesk...
Which is clearly AVEDESK.exe last time i checked...... and viola... AVEDESK Control panel!!!
hmmm mine dooesn't work.....and just as im about to try other way it starts messing me around and isn't letting me put new icons on it grrrrrrrrrrrrr lol
