AIM skins
I don't know what version of AIM you are using and if you are Mac or Windows, but on Windows for AIM 5.9 and lower I would recommend getting Messenger Mate, it allows for skinning as well as a boatload of other mods for AIM, like tabbing and logging. Everything that Dead AIM was capable of plus way more.....
And it looks like it's been discontinued. Sorry to get your hopes up.

Although... I'd rather recommend that you try Trillian. It's worked like a charm for me. Video, file transfers, messaging, etc... all 97% compatible/bugfree with the functionality of the individual clients.
Miranda is also a good program, and a more advanced skinning utility, but I prefer Trillian.
I've tried trillian before, but i deleted it to make more space in my HD. besides i don't feel like installing it again, today i feel lazy & sleepy, i waked up at 6 am in the morning.
