Hello every one, I was wondering how can I make MS Windows make the animation that Mac OS classic does, when you click a folder in Mac OS classic, a square comes out of it getting bigger until it turns into a Window, is there any software for that?
The Clicking Animation
Do a search for UberIcon by the same guys that do RocketDock.
I also found this searching for "spring-loaded."

There's a link to a program about halfway down.
-NC
Thanks every one, I will try the programs. I never knew that could be done in Windows!

None of Programs are working, ubericon is but it does not have the animation that I need...
Not working, or not working for you? I can assure you all the applications work.
- Check Übericon's homepage for additional plugins, some of them are just super.
- PopOpen installs itself under the control panel, meaning you will have to go there to enable it.
Yeah, but I open Popopen and it does not do anything, I checked the control panel and is not there...
Jesus christ, mate. As I recall it comes with an .inf file, yes? Right-click it and select install. Then it should be there.
Can i ask if Übericon only works for desktop shortcuts or can it be used in conjunction with avedesk shortcuts?
If someone could confirm this that would be great.
I think it only works with Explorer icons (ex. any standard Windows icon, including Desktop, in folders, etc.).
Ubericon has it but if you snagged it from the original place, that's probably not the animation set by default. Right click the icon in your system tray, hover over plugins, then select "iZoom instead".
Yeah, Dave Double U is correct. I just tested it out again after trying it a couple years back and I remember why it didn't last long on the computer. It's not exactly the most dazzling of effects. It'd be nice if you actually saw the window (image and all) shrink / grow but all we get is an outline of the window... Not worth it IMO.
