Well I have like my whole list filled up and then another half a list when I go to my All Programs menu, and I was wondering how can I add folders of my own to shorten the whole list down? Thanks for any help,
-Matt.

Right click on All Programs than either choose Open or Open All Users. Create New Folders in Explorer. If you choose open it will only add folders within your own profile.
Personally, I use All Users since I'm pretty much the only one using my computer and I restrict access for my girlfriend...that saves a lot of headaches! ![]()
remember that after modifying the programs shortcut in the start menu, it won't be removed if you do uninstall the program.
i don't mind doing that, since i don't uninstall that much nowdays, what i hate is overly descriptive names that widen the menu (eg. Microsoft Windows Live™ Messenger 8.5 Beta, when you could have WL Messenger)
You could check out the app tidyStartMenu, which seems to do what you're after, only without having to create the shortcuts/folders yourself.
