OK, I don't mind the ads, but Tracking cookies? I really dont like ad companies knowing what websites I go to.
So anyone who doesnt want evil companies spying on you and making you go to Cuba, block the cookies in Mozilla (Firebird). 
IE can probobly do it too, but blocking tracking cookies in IE is too ironic for me.
Hey, whatever gets this place going, if I gotta deal with an ad it would be no worse than anywhere else I go on the net. C|Net, DeskMod, DeviantArt. I mean, anywhere you go they are there and they have become such common place that *****ing about it really doesnt make any sense. Its like the people that complain about Bilboards on the side of highways! Who making you look at them? its not as if I scroll up/down one wheel click they still appear or anything. Banners, I could care less. Now pop-up's and other gimmicks like that DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED! If its a banner that doesnt give me a seiure and doesnt follow my mouse than who the hell cares, but if its all up in my face, KILL IT! And besdies, this is just a me thing, but if you pay for Norton PF like me, Banner ad's go byebye, and in Firebired, you can nuke images AS WELL AS block pop-ups. It will forever be an on-going war, but if it gets this place by, I support it!
Whats funny is im on here more than a few times a day and really didn't notice the ads lol. I see no problem if it helps the people running AS pay to keep this site up then keep it up. Besides I'd rather have a banner on the page rather than a really annoying popup. 
the ads are safe, they are done by GOOGLE YOU CAN TRUST GOOGLE, yes I see yall noticed them on AquaXP too...
I know we all hate ads, but would you want me to add popups or BIG ADDS that flash and show nasty images (dz dont answer that lol)
Oh man, Google just recommended I get Anti-Piracy software. This is getting freaky.

LOL, at least you dont get all of the health orginizations and stuff. Everytime I look, it seems like im not donating enough blood to the red cross or the American Cancer Society makes me feel bad!

and of course Safari can also block them 
it displays ads based on the posts content, also support aquasoft yall click em
Interesting... the add I just saw on this thread said "Eliminate annoying Spam, stop junk from getting to your inbox" and it reminded me of blocking ads from, you know, coming into your inbox.
An add about blocking ads. Love it.

My money is either on Cerebral or TheRaginAsian. I talk to them everyday (since they are admins at my site), and this certainly sounds like them.
I would guess contra, but he strikes me as the type of guy who'd just run a kitty over.
