Is there a way to change the Internet Explorer windows flag in the top right corner to a OS X apple logo or a apple flag.? see pic*
[help] Ie Windows Flag
I just removed it all together.
Can't stand to look at that waste of valuable cpu time. ![]()
Search the forum for the throbber reg hack... it's out there somewhere.
You can use the free program called Edensoft MyLogo, which allows you to change the throbber (that's what it is called) to whatever gif image you choose. With the program in hand, all you need is to find a Apple logo/flag gif image. ![]()
If all you want is to change the one for IE you can use the latest TweakUI (2.10.0.0). You can also use these bitmaps I made from Sergio Diaz's Jaguar Throbber found on ResXcellence.
you can do that also with gpedit.msc go 2 user configuration>windows settings> Internet Explorer and then u can change the animated logos
yah, gpedit works for ie, but how about for normal explorer windows? is there a way to change the flag?
Yeah dreamz that is a good question. Has anyone done it and had success.

Edensoft MyLogo.
yeah, i've tried it before. is there a way without using a 3rd party program?
Hi All,
don't know if this is relevant anymore but I thought I'd make it easy on those that aren't that advanced with gpedit or regedit...
So I exported my settings from my Registry into a .reg file together with the Aqua bitmaps needed!
If anyone needs any help PM me
actually, i already created my own custom animation and image, but thanks for the work. i'll have to check it out sometime. ![]()
