The iPhone does not have phone capability

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a Phone and a Media Player in one? :/ Why would you spend $500 dollars and purposely not use all of its features? Why don't you just give your money to the next bum you spot on a street ally?

Calling people is trivial when you can do all that without dealing with ATT. Just text all your friends with ATT gloating that you don't have to use their "wonderful" service.

/Off topic, but it refers to microsoft & BillGates in the link below, :P and responds to Astyanax's comment

This homeless guy asked me for money the other day.

I was about to give it to him and then I thought he was going to use it on drugs or alcohol.

And then I thought, that's what I'm going to use it on.

Why am I judging this poor b******.

There's nothing wrong with AT&T's service. It hasnt changed since they took over, so jump off the AT&T Sucks bandwagon please.

"In 2006, AT&T handed all of their international and domestic calling records over to the NSA"

Ok, so I guess you better stop using your iPhone to call up your dealers then?

I'm still waiting on someone to call me on what I said earlier. Why would you spend $500 on something you arent knowingly going to use to its fullest extent? Just buy an iPod if you don't want AT&T.

Way to blow it out of proportion. The fact is they are infringing on someone's right to privacy.

BTW, I totally agree about blowing $500 (or around $2000 > ) on a phone that I wouldn't use. Not to mention the lack of features. It seems like an overpriced purty toy.

ROFL... sorry I get a good kick out of the fact your telling me that.....

Well what do you expect from AT&T? ITS AT&T! Anyone dumb enough to spend $500 dollars on a phone deserves being listened to by the NSA or whatever the hell their doing.

#463103

So you get a glorified PDA... BFD.

As for the NSA remark... all providers gave up the records, not just AT&T.

AT&T was named in the suit for their LANDLINE records. Remember... during the NSA wiretap program, AT&T Wireless didn't exist. They were an independent company called Cingular.

Get your facts straight before you start spouting fud.

I think I'll sit tight and wait for the iPhone Shuffle to come out.

It's not $2000 without the monthly bill...
