i have encounterd a problem with my craptop.... i have not installed anything (i have done a system restore to a couple of days ago) and i keep getting this stupid error code....
STOP 0x00000050 PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA.
has anyone else had it? and is it hardware or software.... thanks for any help.

memtest86
System restore...
anything else i could try?

Perhaps is de RAM memory , try whit the app Goldmemory for detects errors http://www.goldmemory.cz/ its a trial version
yep, its the memory which is most likely your problem. A PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA is when the computer requests something that is not in memory. It could be some faulty hardware, bad antivirus app, or a corrupted NTFS volume.
Point is you should do what thenry said.

i could be the anti-virus, its Panda... i just hope its not the RAM port on the motherboard 'cause its outa warranty now :'( so expensive job.
