Artwork on the desktop?

i have seen on some peoples screenshots of there desktops.. they have a wiget of itunes.. around there desktop. how do i get this on my desktop...??

if that dont make sence... how do i get this on my desktop?

(i took the screenshot off someones desktop so ill say thanks too lid for the use of that image )

As a side-note, provided you don't have an iTunes account, try out iTunes Art Importer for getting the actual artwork. Or, if you are more of a manual kinda guy, Discogs.com.

You guys do realize that in getting an apple account, it doesn't actually cost money, they do get your credit card number, but they charge you nothing ...

EDIT: Also, another way to add artwork is using Samurize and some configs, although I wouldn't recommend it, samurize is a bit hard to use, but best with customizing and adding and taking away things

Whenever I add new artwork, I just google the artist name and album in succession.

For example, Google Image searching "System of a Down Toxicity," and then finding the best one. It usually works out fine unless you're searching a vague artist or a new album. I tried this method a day after Marilyn Manson's new album was released and it was hell on earth to find.

But it's simple and about 95% effective.

Google sucks for album covers. www.amazon.com has everything in top quality images my friend. Or even better.. get an itunes account which will download missing art automaticly. orr if your a winamp user in options get it to search amazon for you when missing art or in wmp set it to retreve missing album art.

I use the iTunes store's ability to get album art. Also, I use Amazon.com and Wikipedia.

Interesting enough, I had Marilyn Manson's album art several weeks before release, since it was on Wikipedia.
