Brushed Panther Finder

Hey guys

I have released a beta version of my brushed Panther Finder (a.k.a Felix 7)

In the zip ive actually included 2 exe files, one is Felix brushed and the other is Felix stripes, they both use the same settings file.

I know, CPU is high, im gonna fix that last when the final comes out.

This release has 4 customisable quick links in which you can specify your own image etc.

Nice app alilm,

One prob, for me anyway, the brushed finder doesn't run anything, when i double click a file nothing happens :rant:

Find the lines..

Shortcut1=

A couple observations about the new version Finder from my computer

1. Stripped Finder doesn't seem to show any of the customizable links I put in. Brushed Finder works fine with those customized links.

2. Brushed Finder isn't resizable as stripped finder is

3. Any way we can alter the preset icons you got later?

Meh, not sure what people's standards of bumping an old post are 'round here, so here goes.

erp.. it's telling me i've got -20GB available :blink: and.. is it possible to increase the icon size, or have a "tiles" view like windows xp? "get info" and "forward" button don't seem to work.. but other than that, it rocks! keep it up alilm!

yes, maximize and minimize would be nice.

i prefer the brushed finder.

is it possible to include:

1) drag and drop?

2) right button settings (open, run as..., send to, cut, duplicate, make alias, move to trash, rename, get info)?

sorry but this seems to be very important for me using a finder.

i havent tried this app yet, but couldn't the cpu problem be fixed using the task manager? .. set the cpu priority for the app as below average while its running.. as i said, i havent tried this app, but it might work...
