Hi everyone,
I need a Calvin and Hobbes icon/png for the Comic Docklet. I already have (thanks to Quazimodo): Garfield, Dilbert, Snoopy and Foxtrot. I need one for Calvin and Hobbes.
The docklet just needs the icon I requested (and more if possible 
) and the readme files. Other than that the docklet is ready to be released to the public.

Does anyone have a good Ctrl-Alt-Del comic icon by any chance? :/
1. I'm starting to get a "comic docklet: image not available" error on some comics,... how do I change it so that it auto updates?
2. I see that you have included the hulk, superman and spiderman in your icons folder that
comes with this docklet, assuming I am a total programming retard, how would I enable those comics?

ok, this is kind of complicated to write out so I will try my best.
First if you take the URL in the ini that comics are taken from, copy that paste it into a browser, oh heck heres the url
http://images.ucomics.com/comics/
anyway, go here, and sift through the little two letter codes to find the comics you want for example, http://images.ucomics.com/comics/ga/$[yyyy]/ga$[yy]$[mm]$[dd].gif
this points to the Garfield comic, the funny numbers and symbols will allow the docklet to update everyday for you, assuming theri is a new comic for that day.
In the INI you need to add a new line, basically just copy an existing line, change the URL=00, change that 00 to whatever sequentially comes next, in your case probably 04 or 05. Then change the name of the png to whatver you want, IE Superman.png | Superman on the next line insert the url for the site. in other words the whol thing should look like this
URL05 = superman.png | superman |
http://images.ucomics.com/comics/ga/$[yyyy]/ga$[yy]$[mm]$[dd].gif
the line in bold needs to be changed to whatever comic you want to be shown.

there are over 900 letter codes dnating the comics,.. I tried su, sm, even all the m's for marvel, but I couldnt find spiderman and superman,... is there a list explaining which code is which comic,...
It is really impossible shifting through 900 2 letter codes that have no bearing,... sm was supermarket something.
I get how to input it into the .ini, but what are the abbreviations, do you know?
No, I really don't I have been seraching through myslef looking for some far side stuff. Ask Albeik he seems to have an inkling as to where the good stuff is. If I come across anything in my searches I will let you know.
And as near as I can tell I havent found a list.
The icons superman/spiderman/hulk were added b/c I just had them lying around. I don't really know if there are comics for the icons online. Quazimodo gave them to me prior to me searching if the comics even exist.
If anyone finds them, share it with us all!

I am not sure what you are looking for. You don't have to try all the letters to see what they have. Just go to the ucomics.com site and see what comics they have looking at the drop down menu.

I recieve the same error for Ctrl+Alt+Del and In The Bleachers. Not a big deal just thought Id help out. I think its really great what ya made. I will try to find the codes for you guys cause I love comics and ill add as many as there are codes for! Its just too bad that I cant get Zits daily man, I check out thier site only to find out that there is no daily comics unless you subscribe! POOP!
if u are using ucomics.com comics they don't update the icons exactly after 12:01am. So you will end up getting an error when you try looking at the comic, b/c the site doesn't have the comic on the site.
