[help] Most Popular Dock?

I downloaded Object dock but I didn't really want it. I wanted Yz dock or moby dock but both never worked. Moby dock said I was missing a file and yz dock said I didn't have that lanuage installed. So here i have OD i guess, when I start it up my task bar disappears I don't want it to disappear. How do I get my task bar back? Or has anyone had problems installing moby dock or yz dock?

for ObjectDock, u can change it to have the taskbar show in the options...

for MobyDock, did u download the full with all the .dlls? u probably downloaded the version without the .dlls...

for YzDock, u can select it to run in english...

yeah, the latest is 0.8.3. one of the best things about y'z is the docklets. (Y)

HA! Hands down, if you can get a hold of v0.8.3 (Last Public Release before elppa crackdown), I would have to say that its definetly THE best. With its docklet ability, it can do almost anything. And I mean, if you take a look at Albeik, who I may mention is THE best docklet developer, theres no competiton hands down. Albeik has made so many good docklets that I dunno what I would do with-out seeing my beloved Weather, iCal, 8Ball, Drives, Comics, Volume, .... the list just goes on and on. But yes, that is the rotten part, it actually getting a copy of Y'z that is current. Such a shame, becuase Mr. Y combined with Albeik would give us a dock that would truly be uncomparabe by any means.

I really fell in love with Y'z Dock but then I realized further development would no longer exist. I started using Object Dock and basically it runs nice and gives the neat option to ad taskbar items to it. Id say for now try Object Dock seeing as they have asked for us to stop distributing Y'z dock and what not.

The two language files should be in a directory called languages. From the picture above, it seems that they are not.

And check that at the top of your Yzdock.ini file, it states:

[General]

LanguageFile=English.lang

Objectdock's biggest shortcoming (to me anyway) is it doesn't support drag and drop of files onto dock icons. For example, drag a file onto a Word dock object and have Word open with that file ready to be edited. Or drop a file onto a folder dock object and have the file moved or copied to that folder. Moby supports it, and Yz supports dropping on application objects (but not folders).
