FlyakiteOSX makes it into PC World!

The August 2007 issue of PC World has featured a small article on FlyakiteOSX, on page 124 entitled "Get a Free Mac on Your PC".

Someone should really push these apps to publishers, they will get noticed.

I've found several small apps only because of publishers articles. Without them, I would never have noticed them.

However, this publication sort of worries me. What if Apple sees the article (like they read PC World, LOL) and decides to go after Chris? That wouldn't be very good.

Apple already went after flyakite about two years ago . Fortunately, however, they seemed more upset about the website and the fact that consumers may have thought "FlyakiteOSX is authorized by Apple when in fact it is not." I think it's pretty much cleared up now, and he's alright!

Ah, but Microsoft could send the mob after him for "reverse engineering" what Microsoft claims only it owns even though it's on YOUR computer.

Personally, I hope M$ would have better things to do than chase him over modifying icons.
