OSX 10.4.10 update

Apple has just released 10.4.10 update to Mac OS X

This update includes general operating system fixes, as well as specific fixes or compatibility updates for the following applications and technologies:

- RAW camera support

- Mounting and unmounting external USB devices

- Support for 3rd party software applications

- Security updates

I'll have to run the software update later tonight.

It always makes me a bit scared to update:

You may experience unexpected results if you have third-party system software modifications installed, or if you've modified the operating system through other means. (This does not apply to normal application software installation.)

I know that it's almost always safe, but it never ceases to make me that little bit worried.

Well, there's a way to break a convention! I don't remember since I didn't have a Mac then, but was there an OS X 10.3.10?

I'll update later, and then I can finally install Shapeshifter...I uninstalled it before the 10.3.9 update, and never got a chance to put it back.

Thanks for the notice--it probably would have taken me a while to figure this out!

Nope. 10.3 ended at .9. This marks the first time an OS X version went into a .10.
