Oke guys, I've confusing with this adjusting the icon spacing in the desktop, I've had try change it from appeareance setting, icon spacing vertical & horizontal, than I got nothing, desktop icon not even move a pixel ... :rant:
can you guys help me to sort this out? sorry if this question asked before.

Make sure you restart after making changes
I'm not sure if this helps, but here goes....
If you're running XP, right-click the desktopto get the pop-up menu.
Under "Arrange icons by" check to see if "Align to grid" is checked.
If it is, you can't change the icon spacing, Windows picks it for you
depending on the size you make the icons.
I like the "align to grid" feature 'cause it helps keep my icons neat and
tidy, but I would like a little more controll myself.
