[release] Trillian Pro Mod

I have modded the Trillian Pro splash and progress bar the make it look more Mac-ish. Below is a screenshot.

I did have another but it didn't work out.

Anyway here is the file ---> Click Here To Download <---

Instructions:

1) Close Trillian Pro, is you have it running.

2) Goto your Trillian Pro folder.

3) Make a copy of the file toolkit.dll.

4) Either move or copy my file into the folder.

5) When it asks 'Are you sure you want to replace this file?' click 'Yes.'

6) Run Trillian Pro and behold the new beauty.

I modded mine as well and i'll post it later on - the only annoying thing is that i dont have a clue how to change the WHITE text in the splash screen to black.

any help would be appreciated.

I don't do shadows. The reason is two simple things a Voodoo 3 video card and a 500mhz processor.

So is there anyone here who knows how to change the text color of the splash?

its the text that represents the features being loaded and isnt related to the image.

I'd like to simply make it BLACK.

Same goes for the progress bars, they are under a black background and id like to remove the color and make it either light gray color, or completely transparent.

So again, anyone familiar with the code or think its related to the xml or a dll?

Extract the bitmaps of him toolkit.dll with reshacker.

Implat it in YOUR version of toolkit.dll , save it , restart trillian and it work.

i did that first before i posted

trillian ignores my changes and still shows the original bmps

not sure how or why

also why i change what i think are the 3 or 4 trayicons in trillian with ichat icons it starts up and sits there - and then closes

do u know which bmps/trayicons are to be replaced

i know i did the right ones but do i need to do more than just replace the bmps cuz its ignoring it

nevermind - i installed newest 2.013 trillian pro patch and then mod'd the toolkit.dll file with the bmp's and all is sweet - also mod'd the trayicons and everythign is working -

however is there a correct YOU HAVE A NEW MESSAGE trayicon besides the yellow stickie one?
