Aqua-Soft ForumsI just found out about FinderBar. I installed it, and before opening it, I closed all the applications I was running, and then opened it. Nothing happened except the tasks on the task bar disappeared. What is wrong?
Problem with FinderBar
Open FinderBar and then right click on the right of the taskbar and then click the "Skin It!" button.

Hmm, Now I'm in the same boat as you. I'm running:
Windows XP MCE 2005
AMD Sempron 3100+
nVidia GeForce
512 MB RAM
and it's doing the same thing as yours now. It was working. It ought to work on your system though. Now I don't know what to say.
EDIT: Try sending Landvermesser a PM (he made it). If he has a solution could you tell me?

It depends on what visual style you are using. It works perfectly with most Mac OS X ports but with standard visual styles it doesn't. For instance, I tried it with my current SlanXP v2 VS and it didn't work, but it did work with my Truth VS which is a Mac OS X port.
well I'm using the stock XP visual style (not windows classic, but the Windows XP Style)
So what is the problem? should I try changing to windows classic?
I'm having a Finderbar problem too. First off, when it loads the Finderbar background at startup the background is a few pixels shorter height-wise than the rest of the taskbar. Secondly, most of the time when I click on the finderbar area it goes black. Likewise, when I click on the desktop or into a window or application the finderbar also goes completely black. If I hit "Skin it!" the bar will go back to normal until I do one of the above actions I mentioned above then it will go black. I am using a os x tiger visual style. I am also running programs like iEX, Styler, and RocketDock. I have Finderbar as an exception in the iEX.ini file but could any of the other programs be conflictory?
And what happened to the development of Rosie?
Any help for me and Ambassador?
