it installs with Adobe Reader... look in the Resources/Fonts folder after you install it

(take the fonts and then promptly uninstall that garbage software)

this is the MyriadProReg shipped with reader (as opposed to bol, ita and bol-ita). Does it look different because it is shown with cleartype on xp or because it is actually a different font?

note the square dotted i.

I have the same Myriad Pro, not Web.

@Slewed: Making the typeface bigger shows that it's actually a round dot:

I just made that. It should be a rounded dot. (this example is bold to emphasize the dot)

Btw I wonder what kind of person you shoud be to pay for fonts (Last week I saw a font which costed $1700!). There are so many great-looking freeware fonts.

There are much more important things to pay for... dunno... food, clothes etc. If you're so rich, give your money for some charity.

you get what you pay for. most highly priced fonts are expensive for a reason. they're perfectly kerned, contain many characters, and usually contain a lot of weights.

good type is a great investment for a designer, they usually pay for themselves
