Is there such a thing as an iLife trial?
When you buy a new Mac, iLife comes pre-installed, otherwise, no. You will need to buy it if you don't already have it on your Mac.
There is a demo of iWork, but again, it comes with a new Mac. It's an additional demo CD you get with the rest of the included documentation and system disks. Then you can pay and activate it if you want to keep it.
There are no trials you can download, they come with your Mac, or you have to buy them ($158 total). You can also look into your local shop, or online, to see if you can get a discount off of them for being a student if you need to buy them.

dont think u can download it anywhere, and you certainly cant get it on a PC, lol.
Just sayin, coz most macs I see already have iLife/iWork pre-installed.
iLife is usually not a trial tho, and is already the full version (what would a mac be without iLife?- iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie).
iWork (along with Microsoft office) are both shipped on trial basis on all new macs.
You may be able to get them off bittorrent (the trials, im not suggesting you pirate them)... or maybe if you go into an apple shop they'll install them on for you. They are included on the Mac OSX install disks bundled with new computers.
