iTunes 7.2 release (with Vista support & DRM-free tracks)
This is one thing I don't like about Apple/Mac applications, you need to download the entire stinkin' program to update it.
I'll wait 'til I'm mooching off of a buddies' broadband connection.
That's always been my complaint about iTunes... why the fck they need to bundle QuickTime everytime? They should give option like downloading iTunes and QuickTime separetly. I've already updated my QT to latest version using separate QT installer... now I need to download load of 30+ MB with the stuff I don't need.
Somebody could open the main installer (via WinRAR), and extract the iTunes only installer and upload it to RapidShare or something. ![]()
Thanks Sartre. Frankly, I've gotten sick of updating QuickTime everytime.
iTunes 7.2 msi only 17MB
ERROR: Quicktime is REQUIRED... installer will exit and that's the end  i even already have it installed. oh well ill just have to use the itunes+quicktime
Looks like the installers are more integrated than they were before. Meh. What's another 20MB.
A new bug - I just noticed that if you copy a bunch of songs and try to paste them in an Explorer folder, it won't paste all of them.
Oh crap not a copying problem....that sucks...hopefully its only an isolated case....
It may have been a temporary problem. I just tried a bunch of copies and they all worked fine.
iTunes needs Quicktime in order to work, so if they release it separately maybe people will download iTunes alone and it wouldn't work. I think that's the main reason why it's always bundled together.
Anyway, an embed updater would be great
Maybe you're right wizard, but after all there is no program for music better than iTunes...that is of course my opinion:)
